A Tesla vehicle exploded Wednesday morning outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. The explosion caused the death of one person and slightly injured seven others, local police announced.

“There is a deceased person inside,” Las Vegas Police Sheriff Kevin McMahill said. He spoke during a press conference broadcast by the ABC channel. The police officer also mentions seven people suffering from “minor injuries”.
Elon Musk, boss of Tesla, declared on X that his teams were investigating this explosion. He claimed to have “never seen anything like this.” (ats/vz)
