Karima Charni, co-animatrice de la Star Academy for three consecutive seasons now, very rarely speaks about his private life. At the podcast microphone The Click(s), the former telecrochet candidate agreed to say more.
In a few days, season 12 of the Star Academy will come to an end! And Karima Charni once again shone alongside Nikos Aliagas for almost three months on TF1. The one who has kept very close ties with the family of Grégory Lemarchal, agreed to take a break from her busy schedule to answer my questions in the podcast of Télé-Loisirs, Le Déclic(s). An intimate moment where the 39-year-old host looked back on her complicated beginnings, marked by her complexes and a cruel lack of representation. But Karima Charni, who can count on the precious advice of Nikos Aliagas after each bonus, was much less talkative about her loves… Despite her touching shyness, Karima Charni agreed to say more about her love life and how she manages to combine her life as a woman with her (very) demanding job.
Karima Charni single? She confides in her quest for true love: “I'm not looking for a husband…”
The last time that Karima Charni appeared as a couple on a red carpet, it was with the comedian Cartman, with whom she had a beautiful love story from 2010 to 2013. Since then, the young host has become discreet. Is she looking for true love? She answers us: “I'm not looking for the prince charming who will come and save me. My prince charming is myself. I run away on my own, I work, I'm super independent”, she says, proudly. She adds, amused: “I think everyone is struggling to meet their soul mate! If I find it, that would be a bonus. I'm not looking for a husband, I'm looking for a life partner.”
-Karima Charni (Star Academy) proud of her standards in love
Asked about her loves, Karima Charni confides in the limits she sometimes faced. “I find that it's age that makes it can be complex… I know that I'm in an age group where people settle down, have children, etc. So when you're single, it's more complicated to meet someone your age”, she confides. She adds, in complete transparency: “Afterwards, it’s true that being a homebody isn’t going to help me meet new people!” Still on the podcast microphone The Click(s)Karima Charni does not hide her distrust of dating applications: “I think the consumer society side scares me. I live in a waking dream like in the past. I like couples who mend their ways, not couples who throw themselves away once there is a problem to overcome .I'm looking for a real life partner, who will push me as much as I push him, but that's not a necessity.”
