Two Disney channels will completely stop this week, all the others will become included on all Freeboxes

Two of the five Disney/National Geographic channels will stop broadcasting, but the others will be included in the basic Freebox package.

Two weeks ago, we announced to you that Free had signed an agreement with Disney to include two new channels in its basic package: Disney Channel et National Geographicwhich will be available from January 1, 2025 in all Freebox offers. To this will also be added Disney Channel+1.

However, the question of the two other Disney channels, available until now via Canal offers, including with TV by Canal on Freeboxes, remains unanswered. It is about Nat Geo Wildwhich offers magazines and documentaries on nature, and the youth channel Disney Junior. According to our information, these two channels will completely cease broadcasting and will no longer be offered on any platform. This is why neither Free nor Orange have announced their takeover.

However, some of the programs broadcast on these channels will be transferred to other Disney channels or available on the platform Disney+.
