Dakar Rally: all the tests scheduled | FP

2025 is around the corner, but after the celebrations to welcome the new year it will immediately be time to start the 47th edition of the historian Rally Dakarone of the toughest competitions in the world which will see car, motorbike and truck drivers (no longer Quads from this year) engaged in the desert ofSaudi Arabia for most of the month of January. After the scheduled prologue Friday 3 January in Bisha, a town in the south-east of the country, the twelve scheduled stages will end Friday 17 January in Shubaytah, with the only day of rest scheduled for Friday 10 January. Also included in the calendar is the stage lasting 48 ore and one ‘marathon’with the particularity of the absence of technical assistance.

Con 7706 km total to go (of which 5146 special stages), the Dakar 2025 presents the record of participations, with 807 drivers and 493 vehicles. Numerous innovations await the sixth consecutive edition in Saudi Arabia alone, including almost half of the routes divided for cars and motorbikes, in order to increase safety conditions.
