The wait is over. Three years after its record-breaking debut in 2021, Squid Game returns to Netflix with its second season. The Korean series was a true worldwide phenomenon and is now ready to repeat the incredible numbers of the first chapter. Squid Game 2, presented in absolute preview at Lucca Comics & Games in the presence of the creator, director and screenwriter of the series, Hwang Dong-hyuk and the protagonist actors Lee Jung-jae (player 456) and Wi Ha-jun (Hwang Jun-ho ), will be available again from today, December 26, on Netflix.

The official time was also announced, 9 in the morning (Italian time).
The plot
If the first season focused on player 456 and his experience in the game and how he comes to victory, the second season will see a greater focus on his memories of this excruciating experience and his actual return within the game to stop him once once and for all. Location chapter: the director explained that we will see both familiar places from the first season such as the dormitory but also the iconic colored staircase of Squid Game and the games space but there will also be many new elements such as new games and new characters and new locations which will give the public a sensation of absolute novelty.
The soundtrack of the new episodes also has two Italian songs: «Nessun dorma» by Puccini and «Time to say goodbye» by Andrea Bocelli.
