Dawn of the Jedi, when will filming of James Mangold's film begin?

James Mangold will make one of the next films in the Star Wars saga, Dawn of the Jedi, and online it seems to have been revealed when filming will begin.

James Mangold will be responsible for the creation of one of the new films in the saga Star Warscurrently titled Dawn of the Jedi. The new rumors reveal when the resumed of the project, which will be written by Beau Willimon, the creator of House of Cards.

When Dawn of the Jedi will be made

According to news published online, the film set in the stellar universe should be the next one made by James Mangold, who recently brought A Complete Unknown to theaters with star Timothée Chalamet in the role of Bob Dylan. The start of work on the set, however, could be postponed by the realization of the trilogy about Rey, the heroine played by Daisy Ridley in the sequel trilogy, which Shawn Levy is developing.
However, filming on Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi should begin inautumn 2025.

Currently Disney and Lucasfilm have not revealed which of the projects in the Star Wars saga will arrive in December 2027, a slot that the studio has already booked for the arrival of one of the films in theaters.

Dawn of the Jedi is set 25,000 years in the past and, currently, no further details of the project have been revealed.
The Star Wars adventures have been absent from theaters since 2019, the year in which The Rise of Skywalker debuted. However, fans' wait will end on May 22, 2026, the day on which The Mandalorian & Grogu will be released, the film starring Pedro Pascal which will continue the story begun in the Disney+ series.

Among the films in development related to the Star Wars universe there are also those by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Dave Filoni, Donald Glover, Taika Waititi and Patty Jenkins.
