This was revealed by the production company Universal itself. The journey will move to different parts of the world, and filming will take place using new IMAX cinema technology.
According to what was reported in recent weeks by The Hollywood Reporter, the film could be a story about the relationship between father and son, with the resulting consequences: if this were true, the figure of Laertes, father of Ulysses, should also be present. It is not yet known whether the work will be set in ancient Greece or the present day: The Odyssey takes place mainly in the Peloponnese, the Ionian islands and the western Mediterranean. It is divided into Telemachy, the arrival of Odysseus on the island of the Phaeacians, the story of Odysseus' adventures (Ulysses in Latin), the return to Ithaca and the end of the Suitors.
