referee in confusion, so many errors. Lautaro's curse

Referee Giua's performance at the San Siro in the Serie A postponement analyzed by X-ray, the Sardinian whistler booked four players

Born in 1988 from the Olbia section, Giua – the choice for Inter-Como – made his professional debut (in Serie C) in 2013, making his debut in Serie A on 24 February 2018 for Bologna-Genoa. He boasts 54 total appearances in the top flight but this season on his debut he didn't shine in Verona-Juventus and he did even worse for Verona-Roma: since then, it was September, he has no longer refereed in Serie A (he was however designated in the Italian cup for Fiorentina-Empoli) before being proposed again in Juve-Venice but let's see how he fared yesterday at the Meazza.

Giua's history with Inter and Como

Four previous matches against Como who with the Sardinian whistle had won one, drawn two and lost one. Three meetings with Inter and 3 Nerazzurri victories.

The referee cautioned four players

Assisted by assistants Baccini and Capaldo with Rutella fourth man, Maggioni in the and Sozza in the Avar, the referee warned four players: Bisseck, Da Cunha, Mazzitelli, Thuram

Inter-Como, the slow-motion cases

These are the main doubtful episodes of the race. In the 2nd minute Calhanoglu and Lautaro were fouled within a couple of seconds. The referee whistles for the foul on Toro, but the punishment should have been decreed. In the 6th minute Giua inexplicably comes back following a foul by Strefezza on Carlos Augusto. Initially he runs, then at the end of the action he whistles the foul. TOl 24' clear foul by Bisseck on Belotti (late entry): right yellow for the Inter defender, but Giua makes a mistake in not granting the advantage.

In the 25th minute Dumfries was pardoned and risked a yellow card for a harsh challenge on Fadera, immediately afterwards the same fate for Fadera, who was not booked after a foul on Bisseck. In the 44th minute Giua doesn't take a free kick from the edge of the box for Inter for a clear touch of Nico Paz's hand.

In the 64th minute Da Cunha was booked and pushed Mkhitaryan directly into the open field. In the 68th minute Inter scored with Dimarco's shot which inadvertently hit Lautaro. VAR check and goal disallowed; the Bull touches with his arm and is in a dubious position. Truly a haunted season for the Argentine with the Inter shirt. In the 69th minute there was a double blunder by the referee who didn't whistle for a foul by Koné on Mkhytarian, instead awarding a corner kick that wasn't there.

In the 76th minute there was evident contact between Dossena and Lautaro. The referee does not whistle for the foul, to the disbelief of the Inter players. In the 84th minute Zielinski steps on Da Cunha, Giua blows the whistle for a foul for Como but doesn't draw the yellow card: the Inter midfielder is missing. In the 86th minute Lautaro intervenes very late with a messy slide on Goldaniga. The referee lets the Argentine run for the advantage, without warning the Argentine. In the 87th minute, Mazzitelli received a yellow card after an obvious hold on Carlos Augusto. In the 92nd minute Thuram was given a yellow card for excessive celebration. After 5' of injury time Inter-Como ends 2-0.
