Fiorentina-Udinese, END OF THE FIRST HALF IMPRESSIONS: yet another fatal mistake

The first half ends at the Franchi Tra Fiorentina e Udinese with Viola taking the lead thanks to Moise's penalty goal Kean. Mister Runjaic make some surprising choices with Biol e Brenner who remain in Friuli. Instead, it's there from the first minute Lovric despite not being in top condition after the physical ailment suffered against Napoli. For Jaka it's a muscle strain, while the Brazilian remains out due to technical choice.

The match started immediately uphill for Udinese, with Kristensen who takes the bait immediately after an acceleration from Sottil. Foul tackle, but Marcenaro initially doesn't notice. VAR takes care of changing the match director's mind. It is penalty, which is transformed by Kean. It takes the Friulian team a while to absorb the blow, which only starts to grow around the half hour mark, with the Viola in control without however being defeatist in transition.

In the 35th minute Fiorentina could even end the discussion. Sava misses the clearance, the ball is then served to Kean all alone with Kristensen not going up and keeping him in the game. Karlstrom is desperate to close it. In the last minutes, after the risk of a second slap, Runjaic's boys definitively come out of their shell. He tries Lovric first, then at the end Lucca has room for a goring which however is imprecise. The lackluster start seems to be behind us, but in the second half the Friulians are called upon to make more of an impact.
