| Serie A | Monza-Juventus 1-2 | Goals by McKennie, Birindelli, Gonzalez

Juventus returns to success. A 2-1 at Monza thanks to goals, all in the first half, by McKennie and Nico Gonzalez, punctuated by Birindelli's momentary equalizer.

Motta “dares” and inserts Di Gregorio in goal in the 4-2-3-1; four-man defense with Savona, Gatti, Kalulu and McKennie; in midfield captain Locatelli and Koopmeiners with Conceiçao, Gonzalez and Yildiz in the attacking midfield and Vlahovic in front.

Vibrant first half with three goals in the space of forty-five minutes. Juventus started strong and took the lead in the 14th minute with another goal from Weston McKennie who scored following a corner kicked by Koopmeiners.

The advantage, however, lasts only eight minutes. Because in the 22nd minute Monza found the equalizer with Birindelli – son of an artist: his father played for the “Vecchia Signora” for years – with a volley, following a cross from Carboni, which left Di Gregorio with no chance.

In the 39th minute Juventus takes the lead again with Nico Gonzalez: the ball reaches Locatelli who, somehow, serves the former Viola striker who pierces Turati for the second time.

The second half began immediately with a forced change at Juventus: Koopmeiners out, Thuram in. For him a slight adductor problem which will need to be evaluated.

After a beautiful save by Di Gregorio – ex of the day – on the promising Brianza player Bianco, it is Turati who opposes Yildiz twice.

In the 64th minute Nico Gonzalez comes out and leaves the field in favor of Cambiaso. In the 73rd minute Monza threatened with Mota's shot but his shot went just wide.

In the 85th minute, double substitution: Vlahovic and Conceicao out, Adzic and Mbangula in. In the 90th minute, however, Fagioli came on in place of McKennie.

In the four minutes of injury time, a lot of suffering at Juventus but in the end they are three fundamental points.
