In a legal document, Gossip Girl's Serena van der Woodsen wrote that the man's behavior caused her “serious emotional distress.”

The name by which she is known to an entire generation is Serena van der Woodsen, the character she plays in the hit series Gossip Girl. Then Blake Lively's career took off with many successes. The last one was achieved with the role in the film It Ends With Us – We are the ones saying enough is enough. During the filming of the film, however, the actress reportedly had several problems with the director and actor Justin Baldoni. Serious accusations of sexual harassment hang over him. In a legal document obtained from New York TimesLively blames Baldoni for building a campaign of slander against her. Furthermore, the man's behavior caused her “serious emotional distress”. The reconstruction was denied by Baldoni's lawyer, who defines the actress's legal action as “shameful”, based on “categorically false statements”. The document was filed with the California Civil Rights Department.

Between the lines, we read that Lively ordered Baldoni to “no longer show her images of naked women, nor mention his alleged porn addiction or his sexual conquests.” Events that allegedly occurred during the filming of the film. Additionally, the actress says the director would casually talk about the crew's genitals, ask about Lively's body and publicly mention her father, who is deceased. Also among Lively's requests would be the one addressed to Baldoni not to add new sex scenes in the film, in addition to those already contained in the script approved by her before the start of filming. Sony, distributor of the film, also made accusations against Baldoni: he would have launched a campaign to undermine Lively's reputation. “I hope that my legal action will serve to lift the curtain on sinister tactics used in retaliation against those who report misconduct and to protect others who may be targeted,” the actress told the New York Times.
