Serie A, Bologna wins again, 2-0 at Toro and Christmas among the big teams –

Bologna treats themselves to a Christmas among the greats, for Toro there are still whistles and protests: the rossoblù conquered Grande Torino with goals from Dallinga and the former Pobega during the second half, the granata ended the 96 minutes of the match with zero shots on target. Another disappointing performance thus leads to the eighth defeat in the last 12 games for Vanoli's team.

The Granata coach makes only one change compared to the victorious trip to Empoli and it is a forced substitution: Coco is disqualified and Maripan plays in defence, the injured Ricci and Sosa are recovered and the Sanabria-Karamoh pair is confirmed in attack. Italiano finds Orsolini again but only on the bench, up front he features Castro again and in midfield he focuses on the dynamism of the former Pobega, while Ravaglia is in goal and not Skorupski.

In the first minutes Toro tries to appear proactive without scratching, in the 5th minute a penalty is whistled for the rossoblù: the referee Piccinini needs the review of the monitor to decree Sosa's intervention on Holm as a foul, but Milinkovic-Savic hypnotizes both Castro from the spot and Pobega on the rebound. The match returns to being balanced, the dispute continues in the stands towards the patron Urbano Cairo present in the stands and the best opportunity falls at the feet of Karamoh, who lingers too long on the conclusion and is closed by Beukema and Ravaglia. On the half hour mark, however, Walukiewicz went out on a stretcher due to some respiratory problems and will undergo checks in hospital. The Pole makes way for Vojvoda but the match is not resolved and so the teams return to the locker rooms at 0-0.

Italiano begins the second half with Orsolini and Fabbian replacing Ferguson and Dominguez, on the hour mark Pobega unleashes a powerful left-footed shot that hits the crossbar and the ball bounces just off the line. Vanoli increases the quality of his Toro with the arrivals of Vlasic, Ilic and Adams, but it is the Italian who gets the change right: Dallinga enters and, after just over 20 seconds, is immediately decisive with the 1-0 with the first ball touched.

The Granatas try with a couple of shots from Adams and Ricci rejected by the rossoblu defence, ten minutes from the end comes the classic goal from Pobega's ex who has to wait before celebrating a long review at the VAR. The Maratona curve begins to emptying themselves in protest, Bologna beats the Olimpico Grande Torino and returns to glimpse the Champions area, with the big celebration under the clove of the visiting fans. Vanoli's Toro, however, stops after the four points in the away matches in Genoa and Empoli.
