To be more precise, you can now start a conversation with ChatGPT on WhatsApp and exchange messages with the AI chatbot, accessing an advanced virtual assistant in an easier and more immediate way. In other words, it is no longer necessary to go through the official application of the service for get answers and results from AI.
The service it is also active in Italy and conversations can take place in Italian. The only limit is phone calls. These, in fact, will currently only be active in the United States of America, thanks to a landline telephone number activated by OpenAI. The company stated that it is working to allow other countries to access this functionality as well.
How to start a conversation with ChatGPT on WhatsApp
To start a conversation with ChatGPT on WhatsApp you do not need to be registered with ChatGPT and have a profile on the platform. In fact, it will be enough to contact a specific telephone number.
To do this, record the number in the address book +1 (800) 242-8478 with the name you prefer (it is advisable to opt for ChatGPT, to avoid confusion).
At this point, start WhatsApp and, in the Chat section, click on the button [+]. Select the new saved number and immediately start talking. You can ask ChatGPT any question and get a quick and comprehensive answer in just a few seconds.
Using ChatGPT on WhatsApp presents, at least for the momentlimits. It is impossible, for example, generate images with artificial intelligence. The chatbot also cannot respond to voice messages, images or other media. The service could be enriched in the future.
