Yet another episode of racism hits the player during Verona Milan, very serious thing that happened during the advance of the Bentegodi.

The 17th day of Serie A opened its doors yesterday evening, on the occasion of the match between Hellas Verona e Milan. The match against Bentegodi marked the Rossoneri's return to victory in the championship, allowing Paulo Fonseca to move closer to the European zone. However, putting aside what refers to the football played, we must condemn yet another episode of racism. During the match, in fact, racist boos were heard addressed to a top AC Milan player: another sad page was opened involving the Italian championship.

Of note is yet another sad episode that dirties the image of the championship Serie A. On the occasion of the advance between Hellas Verona e Milan on stage yesterday evening, in fact, Mike Maignan he perceived racist boos directed at him. This is what was revealed by La Gazzetta dello Sport which underlines how the French goalkeeper appeared decidedly agitated during the match, protesting and complaining loudly to the referee. The French goalkeeper's complaint against the referee came only after the final whistle, with the consequent announcement by the Bentegodi speaker who invited the home crowd to avoid displays of racism.

An invitation welcomed by boos from the entire stadium, a scenario that accompanied the players as they returned to the locker rooms. Yet another serious incident, therefore, in the Serie A panorama. The competent bodies are called to identify all those guilty of the sad affair and inflict significant punishments on them. This is not the first episode that affects the Milanese top player. Last January 20th, in fact, the same Maignan reported racist chants to his address to the match director during Udinese-Milan. The complaint from the goalkeeper led to the temporary suspension of the match which followed the Rossoneri's voluntary exit from the pitch.

The new Serie A weekend is not starting in the best way. Milan and all of Italian football await severe punishments from the relevant authorities, called to remove from all playing fields anyone who does not deserve to witness a similar spectacle.
