Ghostbusters, an animated film is in development on Netflix

Ghostbusters is preparing to expand the franchise even further, this time aiming at the animated branch. All thanks to the collaboration between Sony Animation e Netflix: together, in fact, they would be working on an animated film that will offer Ghostbusters fans a new animated adventure. The project, as reported by Deadlinewould be currently in development and would be added to another animated television series in the pipeline for some time and created with Ghost Corps.

Although to date the details are well protected, Deadline reports that the director who will handle the animated film has already been identified: the next Ghostbusters project will be directed by Kris Pearnwhich has already made a contribution to the animated sector in the past with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 – The revenge of the leftovers e The Willoughbys family for Netflix.
