What will the Conference League 2024 2025 table look like? At the end of the group stage, the teams ranked from 1st to 8th position will directly qualify for the round of 16. The teams from 9th to 16th place will face the teams from 17th to 24th in the knockout play-offs, to qualify for the round of 16 (HERE IS THE EXPLANATION OF THE DRAW FOR THE PLAYOFFS). Clubs placed 25th or lower will be eliminated from all UEFA club competitions.
SERIES HEADS – As explained by UEFA, the knockout stage pairings will be partly determined by the league standings, applying this seeding system:
- For the playoffs, teams finishing 9th through 16th in the championship round will be seeded and teams finishing 17th through 24th will be unseeded. The seeded teams will play the return match at home;
- For the round of 16, the teams ranked 1st to 8th in the championship stage will be seeded and will play against the winners of the round of 16 play-offs, who will not be seeded;
- A bracket will be formed that will guide the knockout stage pairings from the playoffs through to the semi-finals. Teams ranked 1 to 8 will be paired based on their position in the championship stage and divided between the two opposite sides of the table by drawing lots.
