Inter-Udinese 2-0, the Nerazzurri’s report cards: Asllani Olympic, Taremi self-denial

No problem forInter who beat Udinese 2-0 and qualified for the quarter-finals of Italian Cup. The Nerazzurri solved the Friulian problem already in the first half by scoring with Arnautovic and Asllani, managing at the same time to get all the starters to catch their breath for the whole match or at least part of it. Below are the report cards of the Inter players.

Martinez 6.5 – He shivers a few seconds after kick-off, but in the final he defends the clean sheet on his debut with the Nerazzurri shirt by making a great save;

Darmian 6.5 – Whether as a full-back winger or as a right-winger, as in this case, the former Toro always offers performances characterized by reliability (88′ Aidoo sv);

Bisseck 6 – Used for the first time at the center of the trio, he is sometimes forced to resort to strong-arm tactics to physically keep up against Lucca;

Sticks 6.5 – Where they come from, Udinese never pushes, so in order not to sit idly by, they launch into their usual ball-and-chain attacks (62′ Dumfries 6 – Despite his limited playing time, he finds time to show up forward)

Buchanan 6 – His performance lacks high notes, but still deserves a pass (74′ Palacios 6 – Important minutes to become familiar with Italian football)

Frattesi 6 – Exceptionally, Inzaghi leaves him on the pitch for the whole ninety minutes, but unlike usual he plays with less bite than usual. A wasted opportunity;

Aslan 7 – Usually the Olympic goal is a matter of luck, perhaps the result of an error by the goalkeeper, but in this case the trajectory is perfect and we can say that under no circumstances could Piana have intercepted that rainbow (62′ Calhanoglu 6 – Takes the opportunity to take a trip to always maintain the pace of the game)

Zielinski 6.5 – The absence of the other big names in midfield makes him feel more responsible, making him feel like a leader. In this condition the Pole shows up more often, also appearing more enterprising;

Charles Augustus 6.5 – We find him almost everywhere, not just on the left lane, providing support in both phases of the game;

Section 6.5 – The goal still doesn’t arrive, but he cares little about it as he continues to do a great job to help the team. That pole denies him a satisfaction he would have deserved;

Arnautovic 7 – When you reach a certain age you need to understand when to run to optimize your energy. The Austrian knows this well, sensing the possibility of creating the right space for himself to be sent through on goal by Taremi and score the goal that unlocks the result (62′ Lautaro Martinez 6 – He would have a couple of opportunities to get the hat trick and find the goal again, but thanks to the enlightening pass to Taremi he still gets the 6).
