Fury-Usyk has already started, 11 minutes eye to eye

Two days after the fight, the heavyweights Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury faced each other in an intense face-to-face match, which lasted 11 minutes and 20″, on the occasion of the press conference to present the fight, in Riyadh. At the end, in front of numerous cameras, Usyk, who defends his WBA, WBO and WBC belts on Saturday, and Fury, stared at each other, faces inches apart, mostly in silence, before being separated when the the climate was starting to heat up and the threats risked coming to blows. Seven months after their first meeting, the two boxers met again for a rematch. On May 19th the Ukrainian had inflicted the first defeat of his career on the Briton, reuniting the four belts in the top category, a feat that had been repeated for 25 years. “We have talked enough… – said Fury in the press conference held in Via Riyadh, a luxury shopping center in the capital Saudi -. This time I’m serious. I’ll do some damage here on Saturday night. I will inflict a lot of pain.” Usyk, for his part, refused to enter the game of verbal taunts. At 37, Usyk boasts 22 victories and no defeats. Fury, aka the “Gypsy King”, has a record of 34 victories, a draw and a defeat. The Ukrainian has given up the Ibf title since the first match, which in the meantime has been recovered by the British Daniel Dubois and will therefore put the others up for grabs three belts: Wba, Wbo and Wbc.
