F1 Red Bull Horner – With the confirmation of Sergio Perez’s departure, which arrived late yesterday afternoon, Red Bull is preparing to outline the future of its line-up. Team principal Christian Horner has announced that the choice to support Max Verstappen in 2025 will fall on two youth drivers, currently protagonists in Racing Bulls: Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson.
“We have collected all the data necessary to evaluate who can fill the role,” Horner told Sky Sports F1. “The decision will be between two strong profiles, with significant experiences. Yuki recently tested in Abu Dhabi, working closely with the engineering team, while Liam has proven his worth both in private testing and in the races he has been involved in.”

Both candidates have demonstrated relevant skills, but the team manager highlighted that the main focus will be on the balance between the two drivers to face a season that promises to be among the most competitive in recent years. “The next championship will see high-level lineups, such as Hamilton-Leclerc or Norris-Piastri. To maintain our lead, it will be crucial to field a pair capable of collaborating and guaranteeing homogeneous performances,” underlined the English manager.
According to rumors, Lawson would be in pole position for the move to the main team, while Tsunoda could remain a fixed point in the satellite team, together with the young talent Isack Hadjar. However, the team principal reiterated that the final decision will be made shortly, in agreement with the engineers and the rest of the management.
The Milton Keynes-based team is therefore preparing for a decisive phase, focusing on young promises to maintain its dominant position in an increasingly fierce context. The official announcement is expected in the next few days, in a climate of great anticipation for the future of the team and the entire championship.
