Ten stitches on the right cheek and still traces of blood from the swipe across the face. The damage is substantial, as revealed by RMC Sportthere’s more: Donnarumma did not at all appreciate the lack of sanctions against Singo by the referee François Letexier and in the corridors of the stadium during the interval he expressed his disappointment.

Via Instagram the Monaco winger, also writing in Italian (four years at Torino between 2019 and 2023), expressed himself thus: “I would like to extend my apologies to Gianluigi Donnarumma. My gesture was obviously not voluntary, Only later was I able to see that he had a significant wound to his face. I wish you a speedy recovery.”
