Oscar Pistorius’ girlfriend is the lookalike of his murdered wife, the controversy

Oscar Pistorius has a new girlfriend, Rita Greylingwhich bears a striking resemblance to Reeva Steenkamp, the ex-girlfriend killed in 2013 on Valentine’s Day by gunshots.

The former Paralympic champion, 38, is released from prison last year and until December 2029 he will be on probation subject to a series of obligations imposed by the South African Department of Corrections. Currently he lives in his uncle’s villa in Pretoriatrying to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. But the South African newspaper Network24 discovered the relationship with Rita Greyling, business consultant and family friend for some time, with whom she has been staying for about three months. Reeva’s mother immediately warned her partner, pointing out that her daughter’s killer still has anger management problems.

Simone Steenkamp, Reeva’s sister, according to what the Daily Mail reports, is seriously worried about Pistorius’ new partner: “Is he so sick that he wants to find a lookalike? After killing Reeva, did he want to replace her?” would have been the reaction of the ex-sister-in-law who also addressed Rita: “But is she crazy? How can a woman close her eyes at night and go to sleep with a man, knowing that he shot four bullets at his wife”. She added: “I look at the photographs and it gives me chills, she looks so much like my Reeva, the same build, the same hair, the same eyes.”

The Reeva Stenkamp’s family attacked Pistorius, underlining how this new relationship shows that he has no remorse for what he did to his wife. “My sister found Oscar charming at first,” Simone said. “Then it happens that he changes and becomes authoritarian, he wanted to leave but he didn’t let her. I will always be convinced that that night she ended the relationship and he lost all control. If he couldn’t have her, no one could.” The ex-sister-in-law then added: “I have nothing against her, but I will warn her to sleep with one eye open. She will always have anger issues and I can understand that to a certain extent, having had such a tough childhood. They amputated him legs at birth, his mother died when he was 15, his father didn’t make it and went to live with his uncle. Unfortunately the anger inside him boiled over leading to a murder.”
