Children’s Day, dubbed Yannick Noah Day, will take over Roland-Garros this Saturday. It will pay tribute to the 40th anniversary of the player’s victory in .

The 2023 edition of Roland-Garros will celebrate the 40e anniversary of Yannick Noah’s victory on Parisian clay. To celebrate this success, the children’s day, entitled Yannick Noah Day, will be held this Saturday, the day before the start of the first round of the Porte d’Auteuil tournament.

This event, organized by the French Tennis Federation, is back to amuse and get the youngest moving, during activities and exhibition matches, the profits of which will be donated to associations.

Roland-Garros will vibrate to the rhythm of the entertainment

Throughout this day, festive entertainment will also be on the program, both on the courts and in the aisles. On the courts, it will be possible to exchange a few balls on the legendary courts of Roland-Garros. Legendary matches will be held throughout the day, as will training for tennis players at Court Suzanne-Lenglen.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the Court Philippe-Chatrier will see personalities from the world of tennis or not disembarking for fun tennis activities. Players taking part in Roland-Garros will participate. Yannick Noah will indeed be present on center court. Introductions to para-tennis and urban tennis will also be presented to young people. Not to mention the presence of stilt-walkers, jugglers, musicians, and make-up stands.

As every year, the profits from this day will be donated to the Fête le Mur association and will also finance actions initiated by FFT affiliated clubs for young people in the neighborhoods, for adapted sport tennis, healthy tennis, paratennis but also also in favor of the environment via the Trophies for Solidarity and Environmental Actions.
