A problem? “Petit Guillaume” is a pastry chef by night and a handyman by day

the essential
You can ask him just about anything, he comes running within a minute or so. However, Guillaume is also a pastry chef, he works at night and provides services during the day. But when does he sleep?

This 27-year-old young man is called Guillaume Cadiou, and he is really not built like everyone else. “I am a baker and pastry chef, I work at Ferme Campagnolle.” So he works most of the night. And during the day, does he rest? Not really… “I provide small services here and there, I created a micro-enterprise 3 months ago.” But why? “I started by helping a neighbor, who needed small jobs at home. I like to be of service. So, as I have a van, I said to myself why not make it available to people.” It’s that simple. And above all, Guillaume does almost everything. “I do the shopping, I can deliver meals to your home, I take and pick up clothes from the dry cleaners, I take care of the packages, to be dropped off or picked up.” And many other things…

One problem, one solution!

Audrey, who uses his services, is full of praise for “Little Guillaume”, the name he gave to his business. “He’s an angel! In our co-ownership, everyone is looking forward to him. We contacted him for the maintenance of the green spaces, he trimmed the hedge, removed the leaves, passed the Karcher… And he came immediately, without forgetting that when it comes to prices, he doesn’t take people for Americans!” And he can do everything. “It’s true, I do a little bit of everything.” Examples? Recently, a lady contacted him to pick up a new washing machine, “she had no other solution”, he went there, dropped it off and in the process, he installed it and took the old one to the recycling center . “It wasn’t planned at the start, but while we’re at it…” He also sometimes brings books back to the library, takes care of the animals in the absence of the owners… Another time, Guillaume has to take a broken down scooter to the dealership. In the garage, he sees a happy mess. “The gentleman then tells me that he has all this to throw away, but that he has no means of transport, that he has never taken the time to do it. So, at the same time as the scooter , I loaded everything, and I made a trip to the recycling center, after dropping off the scooter… The idea is to optimize.”

It is with good heart…

And above all to please. “Yes, I have that in me, I always want to help people, it’s my nature. When people call me, they ask me if I can do this or that thing. And I often say yes …” And he admits that although the people who call on him are very often seniors, this is not always the case. “Once, it was a young woman who asked me to go get her 9 bags of potting soil… Afterwards, I like old people, they are often alone, and they need to talk, to have of the company. I like bringing them this human contact, I find it enriching to exchange.” Little by little, he equips himself with equipment, “especially for green spaces”, because the more things go, the wider the missions become. “Me, as long as it’s useful, I’m happy to do it. Afterwards, if I don’t feel capable of it, if a professional is needed, I also know how to say no. Now, I didn’t expect not to be so solicited!” Maybe it’s because people feel he’s doing it out of the goodness of his heart, as they say. And they want to share their “good deal” with their friends and acquaintances. There remains the question that everyone asks: when does he sleep? “It depends, I don’t have fixed hours at the bakery. Generally, it’s 3 a.m./10 a.m., I rest a little, and then I go!” He puts on his “Little Guillaume” outfit and he’s going to do good. A problem? Call him on 06 77 88 02 05.
