An app to compare supermarket prices

Every day, Valère Corréard offers a daily solution in Ile-de-. Today, spotlight on the CIRCL application.

I found a good plan to save money using a supermarket price comparison site. It’s thanks to Marc who lives in Créteil who wrote to me by email [email protected] :

“I discovered a really good application and my loved ones also use it now. It's called Circlit compares the prices of your products in different supermarkets, most of the time it works and it saves money.

Thank you Marc for sharing this good plan, it is extremely important that listeners mobilize for our purchasing power. I looked into it, and indeed it is quite an interesting application: CIRCL. It compares supermarket prices in real time, indicates changes in the price of certain products and also allows you to scan a receipt to find the best prices elsewhere. And it is free since it is the brands that pay for it. business contribution.

This looks very interesting, how does it work?

Once the application is downloaded, you can create your shopping list with the products you usually buy. Once the list is made, you can compare the different brands. You choose one and place an order for home delivery or in-store collection. At the moment it only works region so we're a bit of a lucky guinea pig…

The application is a partner of around fifteen distributors, which provides access to a base powerful enough to be representative…

When you arrive on the application you must indicate your address and you have several possibilities: discover promotions, scan your ticket, or enter your ideal list by product: fruits, vegetables, salty groceries, hygiene… It is tedious at first because you must fill in all the details.

So I tested it for you on a small list.

– Pomegranate seeds

– A green olive tapenade

– A 500 gram package of organic pasta

– And 200 grams of cordon bleu

So what is the verdict?

It's very detailed…you have a list of brands, the number of products available and the price.

The only limit is that the distributors do not always have all the products, so it is more tedious to compare but you still see a lot more clearly…I think the best thing is to start with basic races to have the biggest common denominator..
