Real Madrid’s trip to Doha did not start under the best auspices! According to an article published by AS, the expedition suffered a three-hour delay due to a malfunction in the plane’s hold.
The departure initially scheduled for 1:05 p.m. this Monday was postponed after the problem was detected, forcing the team management to change aircraft.
Despite this setback, the club’s program does not seem to be affected. The Whites are now expected to land in Doha around 10:30 p.m. Spanish time. Once arrived, the players will be transferred to the Hotel Al Messila, a luxurious establishment located 18 kilometers from Lusail Stadium, where the grand final will take place.
This same stadium, which hosted the final of the 2022 World Cup, will also serve as a location for training sessions for the two teams, Real Madrid and Pachuca, as well as for press conferences for coaches and players, according to AS.
The Madrilenians will return to Valdebebas at the end of the match, with a landing scheduled for around 6:15 a.m. this Thursday. The players will therefore have very little time to recover, as they will have to quickly focus on their next La Liga match against Sevilla FC on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Ultimately, all’s well that ends well, and Real Madrid can stay focused on their goal of winning another international trophy.
