François Sauvadet, President of the Departmental Council, and Guillaume Ruet, President of Ingénierie Côte-d’Or, held the general meetings of Ingénierie Côte-d’Or (ICO) this Friday, December 13, in front of around a hundred mayors and presidents of intermunicipalities. This advisory service, created five years ago, supports municipalities and intermunicipalities in carrying out their structuring territorial projects.
Ingénierie Côte d’Or, the departmental support system serving communities, is celebrating its 5th anniversary. This tool offers personalized solutions to elected officials to carry out their projects. ICO offers technical support by providing project management or assisting project management. This advisory service extends to many areas such as sanitation, roads, town planning, water and digital technology. “ This scalable system adapts to the needs of all Côte-d’Oriennes communities », explains Guillaume Ruet, President of Ingénierie Côte-d’Or.
The growing membership of this support lever testifies to its success, with a constantly increasing number of members. To date, 422 communities, including 388 municipalities, 13 intermunicipalities and 20 unions, subscribe to the ICO service. That’s 58 additional memberships in 1 year.
In a constrained budgetary context, President Sauvadet reaffirmed during the General Assemblies the Department’s commitment to elected officials as the first partner of communities and the first investor in the territory: “ You can always count on the Department to support and advise you in your territorial projects. ».
Ingénierie Côte d’Or also supports municipalities in the digital transition. Since January 1, the digital service package has provided tools to meet the needs of elected officials with tailor-made solutions. “ It is our duty to support municipalities in the digital transition », explains François Sauvadet. More than 140 municipalities are members and 160 communities have submitted a subscription offer.
With its digital and artificial intelligence department, the Department will continue to support communities in digital uses; in particular by organizing training meetings for town hall secretaries. The Departmental Council Data Center, which will be located in Beaune, will also benefit municipalities in terms of data security.
