At the age of 82, the TV presenter is still passionate about his job and his successful Sunday program, even if he could greatly benefit from a well-deserved retirement. Loving the recordings, his set with his red sofa and the audience, Dany Saval's husband is however lucid about his advanced age and the possibility that everything will stop tomorrow, due to a health problem.
Considering to be “vieux” like most viewers loving his work and appreciating the fact that Looking forward to Sunday has been regulated like clockwork for years, without much change making everything very reassuring, Michel Drucker explained that he was “still quite surprised, objectively, to still be there.” Appreciating life, the host clings to it, to his passion for work and intends to do it until the end, with the same fervor. “I still say that we don’t leave anything on TV, it’s sand that slips through your fingers,” confided the man who has nevertheless had the opportunity, since the start of his long career, to record 35 TV shows and 9 on the radio. Enough to prove his infallible humility, even though he is one of the most well-known and important personalities in the French audiovisual landscape.
