new insulting chants sung during PSG-OL, the match briefly interrupted

Insulting chants were sung by part of the Auteuil bend in the Parc des Princes, Sunday December 15. Coming mainly from the CUP (Collectif Ultras ), these chants pushed the referee of the match Benoît Bastien to interrupt the match between PSG and Lyon for a few minutes in the second half. A prevention message indicating that “insulting songs are prohibited“and that”the match could be abandoned or lost” was displayed on the giant screens of the stadium, captain Achraf Hakimi, as well as Vitinha, went to meet their fans to demand a return to calm and normality. Following this, the match was able to resume.

Already in the first period, certain insulting chants against the Lyonnais had pushed the Park announcer to call for the chants to stop, specifying that “the match could be stopped“.
