75 years of Match: the shock of photos to discover on Première!

Monday evening at 11:20 p.m., Première broadcasts “The Shock of Photos: 75 years of photojournalism”a new documentary directed by Marjory Déjardin and produced by 909 Productions (Mediawan). This film celebrates 75 years of Paris Matchtracing the evolution of photojournalism, from its beginnings to today, in a vibrant and visually arresting narrative.

Paris Match: a memory in images since 1949

Since its creation in 1949, Paris Match revolutionized the art of press photography, capturing the most significant moments in our collective history. The magazine, influenced by pioneers such as Life et Vuimposed a vision where the image becomes a universal language, capable of informing, moving or mobilizing. This documentary highlights the exceptional photographers who have shaped this unique identity, Robert Capa has Patrick Chauvelpassing through emblematic photos such as those of the Resistance, May 68 or the Yellow Vests.
