“No one answers our questions”

Ce funding of the end of the work on the roof of the east chapel act et renewed for several years, explains Philippe Desbois who regrets the total lack of response from the town hall:

What is the origin of the problem? Is this incompetence? Bad will? Some coordination problems or maybe a bit of everything at once? This remains mysterious, especially since no one at the town hall answers our questions…

The municipality which owns the building must take charge of the investment.

“It’s been raining in the chapel since August”

After the restoration of the framework, the roofing work should have followed, the president continues:

Unfortunately, we are still wondering when the work will end. It has been raining in the chapel since August, soaking the documents left for visitors.

The president feels disowned and, discouraged, he threatens to give up his place: “As the municipality is not loyal to the association, I will resign from the presidency at the next board of directors which will be responsible for electing a new president. I always thought that associations had a sort of unofficial public service delegation. In view of the services provided, I believe that the municipality has still not understood this and is applying the policy of burying its head in the sand.

A letter to this effect will be sent to the town hall. »
