Israel decides to close its embassy in Ireland

DIn a press release published on Sunday, December 15, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs announced that he had ordered the closure of his embassy in Dublin, Ireland, after “anti-Israeli” initiatives. Referring to “the anti-Semitic actions and rhetoric in the delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish State, as well as in the policy of “double standards””, Gideon Saar estimated that the country had “crossed all the red lines”. “The decision to close the Israeli embassy in Dublin was taken in light of the extreme anti-Israeli actions of the Irish government,” the minister added in his statement.
