U18s match summary: Liverpool end 2024 with 4-2 home win over Wolves

A great run from Bradshaw almost created a third goal as he found Sonni-Lambie in space in the penalty area. His effort hit the post before Ngumoha’s rebound was saved by Gracey.

Cam Williams was back at left-back and played a lovely ball down the line to set up Ngumoha in the penalty area, but his effort was deflected into the side netting.

Bailey Hall repelled Mane as the half drew to a close, but the Reds failed to heed the warning and the same player was sent off to finish clinically for a 2-1 score at half-time. time.

Furnell-Gill should have scored a second goal with 12 minutes remaining, but Gracey again palmed away a free header after a Williams shot.

Nguhoma deserved a goal with his relentless energy and should have scored with three minutes remaining when he was sent off with only Gracey to beat, but the keeper continued his fine after -noon with a stop.

Myles Dayman received a second yellow card for Wolves on the stroke of full-time, but the visitors still had time to pull a goal back, with Wilcox scoring from a corner.
