Tom Voyce dies at age 43
The former British rugby international has been missing since last Saturday in the north of England. While returning from a night out with friends, his car was swept away by a river during Storm Darragh. “After four days of extensive searching, specialists made the tragic discovery yesterday in the river near Abberwick Mill, close to where Mr Voyce was swept away by the floodwaters.thus announces the DailyMail. The rugby player's death was confirmed by his wife in a short press release. “To say we are absolutely devastated and heartbroken can't even describe how we feel. Tom was fully involved with Alnwick rugby club and was much loved by Oscar's under-7 team, whom he coached enthusiastically, giving back to the sport that had given him so much. Oscar is immensely proud of his father and he was the best father and role model Oscar could have asked for.”she added.

Tom Voyce, who began his professional playing career in 2000, notably wore the colors of Bath, London Wasps, Gloucester and finally London Welsh before his retirement in 2013. He was also known in the world of rugby for having worn the England jersey on several occasions. He was indeed part of the England team between 2001 and 2006.
