That's it! The highly anticipated December 2024 update for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is normally available. If this is not yet the case, don't panic! It's only a matter of minutes since the maintenance ended at 11:00. A delay cannot therefore be ruled out, even if it should be good. What's new in this new patch? A feature requested since release, and even before, is now available with this version 2006.005.003.004.003 of the game.
You will finally be able to play together locally on all arenas in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and no longer only on that of the Room of Spirit and Time. Ahead of the launch, the developers warned that they needed time to optimize this feature, in order to offer it on more maps.
The patch notes 2006.005.003.004.003 of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero report other new features. From now on, you will be able to change how characters are displayed, and take advantage of the “My Sets” option in the battle settings. If you want to get going as quickly as possible, the introductory animations can be skipped. When choosing your team, you can now hide your selection from your rival to keep the surprise until the end and prevent him from adapting accordingly.
Another option to adjust the camera distance, so that it is closer, has also been implemented in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Finally, alphabetical sorting of texts has been introduced for Custom Combat mode. In terms of the combat system, a new action “High-speed Dragon Dash” expands the range of movements. This is only a small preview, but all the new features and changes are available in English on the Bandai Namco website. The publisher also indicates that it is aware of communication errors for PC users under Windows 11 24H2. A fix is currently under review.
