This GPS meter has almost unbeatable value for money!

Bryton, specialist in affordable GPS meters, unveils the Rider S510, an improved version of its S500 model. This new meter from Taiwan is designed to offer high-end features at an attractive price. It positions itself as a serious alternative in the market for connected bicycle equipment.

Compact design and improved screen

With its 2.8-inch color screen, the Rider S510 guarantees good readability despite a compact screen. For this, it can count on a backlighting system automatically adjusted according to the ambient brightness; the Garmin 520 that I used until now does not offer this functionality.

Compact and lightweight (8.7 x 5.7 x 1.5 cm for 96 grams), it promises up to 30 hours of battery life thanks to fast charging via USB-C like the Wahoo Elemnt Ace, which makes it an ideal choice for long rides or cycling trips.

Navigation and training: all in one

The Rider S510 combines navigation features and performance-enhancing training tools. It offers free global mapping, automatic route recalculation and quick return to the starting point.

Elevation enthusiasts will appreciate the Climb Challenge 2.0 function, which provides forecast data on upcoming climbs, thus allowing better effort management.

Compatibility with platforms like Strava, Komoot and TrainingPeaks makes it easy to monitor performance, while Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity allows you to synchronize sensors (speed, cadence, power, cardio) and smartphones.

A competitive alternative on the market

Compared to competing models, notably Garmin, this GPS meter stands out for its excellent value for money. Although it offers a slightly smaller screen than the Rider S800 and less battery life than the Rider 750 SE, it retains the majority of advanced features, such as group ride tracking, compatibility with rear radars and integration with e-bike systems.

The Bryton Rider S510 is available in two configurations:

  • Standard version (€249): delivered with a handlebar mount, a charging cable and a wrist strap.
  • Pack version (€329): including a speed sensor, a cadence sensor and a cardio belt.
