A chalet caught fire this Friday afternoon in Troistorrents, causing the closure of the valley road in both directions. A diversion has been put in place. The fire caused no casualties or injuries.
The fire this Friday afternoon in a chalet in Troistorrents caused the total closure of the valley road. In both directions, traffic is prohibited at least until the beginning of the evening due to the large volume of water used by firefighters and the risk of freezing, tells us the head of support for the canton’s commitment Glenn Martignier. The municipal police have set up two diversions: in the direction of the climb, vehicles must pass through Chenarlier and through Morgins via the forest road for those going down towards the plain. Glenn Martignier confirms that the disaster caused no victims or injuries and that the intervention continues.
