During the presentation of the youth, sports and associative commitment medals, Bernadette Adrian received from the hands of Claire Raulin, prefect of Lot, the gold medal, the highest distinction which rewards her tireless commitment and selfless.
Bernadette Adrian is very involved in her community and, since 1995, in the life of the ASPTT Cahors multi-sports association. Firstly in the hiking section, she was treasurer from 1995 to 1998 then president from 1998 to 2024 and still a member of the office today; at the omnisports then, member of the office from 1999 to 2012 then general secretary from 2012 to the present day. She also served as treasurer of the gymnastics section in 1998.
Bernadette is also very involved in the La Poste and Orange blood donors’ association, of which she was successively secretary from 1991 to 1998, president from 1998 to 2010 and vice-president from 2010 to date.
She also created and chaired, between 1999 and 2009, the association “Ladornac from yesterday to today” with the aim of developing social ties between old and new inhabitants of this Dordogne village.
Such a journey can only be recognized and rewarded, Bernadette received the medals of knight in the order of blood merit then officer of blood merit. She obtained the youth, sports and community commitment medals of bronze in 2012, silver in 2018 and today gold in 2024, promotion of July 14, 2024, the year of the Olympic Games and Paris Paralympics.
