Around 11:40 a.m. firefighters responded to a fire in a van tractor on West 76th Street in the Charlesbourg area.

Even before the first teams arrived, the fire had completely engulfed the cabin and an imposing column of black smoke was coming out of the cabin.

The driver was not reported to have been injured.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown; an investigator from the Fire Department is on site to try to determine the cause.
