Rhône: indictment of a childminder for the murder of an infant – LINFO.re

The infant's death led to the indictment of a childminder aged around forty for “murder”. This indictment comes three months after the death of the 22-month-old baby for whom she was responsible in Chessy-les-Mines (Rhône), according to information communicated this Wednesday, December 11 by judicial sources. Brought before an investigating judge last Friday, she was placed in pre-trial detention. The Lyon public prosecutor's office confirmed this decision, initially revealed by the newspaper Progress.

It was on September 13 that the little girl was discovered lifeless at the nanny's home.
