Six people were killed and 20 injured when a Russian missile strike destroyed a private clinic in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia on Tuesday, with many more people trapped under the rubble, officials said.

President Volodimir Zelensky called the attack “brutal” and issued a new call for allies to provide air defenses to Ukraine.

“The world has enough systems to do this. The issue depends entirely on political decisions: decisions of the American administration, European leaders and other partners around the world,” he said on X, adding that Ukraine had provided the allies with the list of necessary items.

Earlier Tuesday, Russian missile strikes on the Kharkiv region in northeastern Ukraine injured 10 people and damaged an administrative building, according to the regional governor.
