Saturday, December 7 afternoon, took place on the church square, the Sainte-Barbe ceremony of the Prunay-Authon first intervention center (CPI) and the Saint-Amand-Longpré rescue center, in the presence by Vincent Le Duff, sub-prefect of Vendôme, Bernard Pillefer, senator, Christophe Marion, deputy, Claire Foucher-Maupetit, departmental councilor, Éric Bardet, mayor of Prunay, Marie-José Cintrat, mayor of Authon, Daniel Roger, mayor of Saint-Amand-Longpré, Lieutenant-Colonel Joël Frette, from the Northern group of the departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis), Commander Jean-Noël Richard , president of the departmental union of firefighters of Loir-et-Cher and numerous mayors and elected officials.
The ceremony was led by Captain Stéphane Luneau, head of the Saint-Amand-Longpré rescue center.
This year, an important event took place for the CPI Prunay-Authon with the handover of command between Master Sergeant Loïc Suy and Lieutenant Rudy Leton. Rudy Leton is retiring from the fire service after 37 years. On this occasion he was promoted to honorary captain.
In his first speech as new head of the CPI Prunay-Authon, chief sergeant Loïc Suy, firefighter for 14 years in Prunay, took stock of the various interventions carried out from 1is December 2023 to November 30, 2024: 171 outings in around fifteen municipalities including 73% for personal rescue, 10% for accidents, 9% for fires, the rest for various operations. The center has 12 firefighters: 5 women and 7 men. A young woman has joined the team since January 2024: Shannon Fraigne and a future recruit is preparing to join the squad in April 2025.
Promoted and medaled at the CPI of Prunay-Authon: Rose Pataux and Shannon Fraigne (success in both personal rescue training courses); Christophe Fraysse (validation of his training as 1 team equipment leader), promoted to sergeant; Judicaël Bard: promoted 1re class ; Dorothée Bout-Richard: promoted to master corporal.
