A 34-year-old motorist died following a road accident early Monday morning in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du Sud, near Montmagny. Traffic on Highway 20 was affected during the day.
Shortly after 5 a.m., the man from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu was traveling east on Highway 20 when he swerved violently.
The driver was thrown from his car. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
