There are only seven left! After several weeks of adventure at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys, the 2024 class of the “Star Academy” lost one of its acolytes this Saturday, December 7 on TF1. After Julie's departure a week ago, two candidates were submitted to viewers' votes following the evaluations: Charles and Maureen.
A show worthy of Broadway
During this evening on the theme of musicals, the academicians had to perform sung and dance scenes. Above all, they had to live up to the prestigious artists who took part in the game of musical comedy, namely Camille Lellouche, Patrick Bruel, Amir and Emmanuel Moire. There was also the new French rap phenomenon, Carbone. The festivities started with “Quand onarrive au prime”, a revisited version of “Quand onarrive en ville”, a famous song from the rock opera Starmania, written by Luc Plamondon and composed by Michel Berger in 1978. For this piece , Nikos Aliagas did not hesitate to give his voice to the great pleasure of the public and the teaching staff.
A little after 11:41 p.m., Nikos and Karima Charni, accompanied by Maître Simonin, came to deliver the final verdict of the viewers. Charles was picked out by the public and it was therefore for Maureen that the adventure unfortunately ended. “What a journey we have made after all these weeks of commitment, discoveries and work. She surpassed herself on the stages of our prime times! And here are her comrades who come to greet her, Karima, moved even if they know full well that they will meet again soon“, then launched the host. Remember that Maureen is, in fact, one of the 8 students selected for the 2025 grand tour.

After her elimination, the 23-year-old young woman who comes from Montpellier and who had her first experience on stage during her high school's end-of-year ball declared: “I'm really so happy!
