Serie A. Atalanta temporarily takes the lead in the championship after its victory against AC Milan

Atalanta Bergamo, victorious over AC Milan (2-1) this Friday, December 6, rose provisionally to the top of Serie A on Friday at the opening of the 15th day also marked by the victory of Inter Milan against Parma at San Siro (3-1). At the end of an exciting game, Gian Piero Gasperini's men, undefeated since September 24 and a defeat (3-2) in Como on the 5th day, now have 34 points, two more than Naples opposed on Sunday December 8 at Lazio, and Inter, three lengths (31 pts).

In this Champions League level shock, the Dea launched hostilities in the 12th minute of play with a free kick concluded by Charles De Ketelaere. Logically deprived of a goal for an offside position a little earlier, Alvaro Morata saw his tenacity rewarded by equalizing ten minutes later. The pace imposed by the Bergamasques in the second half ended up paying off three minutes from the end of regulation time when Ademola Lookman deceived Mike Maignan when receiving a corner.

The Rossoneri also lost Christian Pulisic, who left the pitch in the 37th minute injured. His participation in the Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday at San Siro appears uncertain. Everything is going well, however, for Atalanta, which has gone on to a 14th match without defeat in all competitions and has prepared well for the clash scheduled for Tuesday at home against Real Madrid.

Earlier in the evening, Inter Milan defeated a weak Parma team, beaten 3-1. The Nerazzurri had to wait until the end of the first act to make the difference via Federico Dimarco who, with a left-right sequence, found the fault in a forest of legs (1-0, 40th). They made the break thanks to an individual exploit from Nicolo Barella (53rd) before Marcus Thuram added to the score from a corner, his 10th goal in 14 matches. The goal against his camp by Matteo Darmian remained anecdotal (3-1, 81st).
