Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Xuan Sang said Vietnam Airlines has effectively fulfilled its role as an air gateway between Vietnam and Japan. Over the past 30 years, the safe flights operated by this airline have not only transported passengers and cargo, but also contributed to strengthening economic cooperation, cultural and artistic exchanges, as well as promoting understanding. mutual between the people of the two countries.
The Deputy Minister insisted that the celebration of 30 years of direct liaison coinciding with the official visit to Japan of NA President Tran Thanh Man has a particularly important significance in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries towards a comprehensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world.
He expressed confidence in the key role of aviation, while urging Vietnam Airlines to increase flight frequency, expand its network, improve service quality and strengthen cooperation with Japanese partners.

Vietnam Airlines CEO Le Hong Ha said opening the route to Japan 30 years ago was a strategic decision. The company is committed to increasing flight frequency, exploring new routes and deepening collaboration with Japanese partners to meet growing needs.
As part of the event, Vietnam Airlines signed MoUs with major partners such as SaigonTourist Group, Japan Dream Tour, JTB and HIS, aiming to expand the aviation and tourism market between Vietnam and Japan.
