“We were the first to move from analog to digital at the time and from HD to 4K. Today, we work with all the major business aircraft manufacturers and we will reach around ten million euros in turnover within two years,” explains Guillaume Daudon. The company, supported by the Ouest Growth investment fund, a subsidiary of Banque Populaire, exports 95% of its activities, but obtains its supplies mainly from France, including more than 50% from New Aquitaine.
Technology concentrate
The cameras designed by Otonomy aviation, no more than five centimeters wide and ten centimeters high, are a concentrate of technology. Four are enough to equip a jet and cover the entire vision around the aircraft. They allow passengers to observe the landscape in flight, but they are also increasingly requested by pilots to ensure the safety of the plane on the ground, in order to have a peripheral vision of the cabin. The cameras also provide surveillance and allow data to be retrieved in flight.
The SME with around forty employees aims to tackle the commercial aviation market within a few years.
