In Val-d’Oise, eight hospitalizations and a child saved after a fire in Garges-lès-

An apartment caught fire on the 2nd floor of a building in Garges-lès- (Val-d’Oise) on the night of Monday December 2 to Tuesday December 3. A child was rescued by firefighters and eight people were hospitalized, reports “La Gazette du Val-d’Oise”.

A fire broke out in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d’Oise) on the night of Monday 2 to Tuesday 3 December 2024. According to The Gazette du Val-d’Oise the fire apparently started shortly after midnight on the 2e floor of a building on rue des Aubépines.

A child stuck at 3e floor

Once on site, firefighters rescued a child trapped in an apartment on 3e floor. The latter is safe and sound. According to our colleagues, around twenty occupants of the seven-story building had already left the premises when the firefighters arrived.

Eight of them were hospitalized for slight poisoning. In total, 35 firefighters and nine vehicles were mobilized for this intervention.
