The vehicle is considered a total loss, indicated SPVM spokesperson Véronique Dubuc, who specified that the property suffered significant damage.
After checks, accelerant was found on a vehicle parked nearby, which supports the criminal nature of this fire.
No one was injured in this fire and no suspect was arrested, according to the creationist of the Montreal police.
The investigation was transferred to the arson section of the SPVM, which will have to shed light on this event.
Investigators will travel in the morning to analyze the scene and try to determine the causes and circumstances of this fire.
During the night from Sunday to Monday only, the police had already dealt with the area for a suspicious fire of a vehicle in the entrance of a private residence located less than a kilometer away, but no incendiary object had not been found at the scene at the time.
