JAKARTA – PT Pertamina (Persero) targets oil production by 2025 reaching 748,000 barrels per day (BOPD).
This figure increased from the 2024 target of 556,000 BOPD.
Pertamina Senior Vice President Wiko Migantoro said the new targets were set out in the company’s long-term plan (RJPP) with details of the national oil production of 417,000 barrels and the rest came from production international.
“If we are in the RJPP, next year our production target is 748,000 barrels of oil per day, 417,000 barrels of domestic oil per day and the rest we hope to get from international,” said Wiko, quoted Wednesday December 4.
In the RJPP, Wiko continued, Pertamina also targets by 2029 Pertamina’s oil production to reach 914,000 barrels of oil per day with national donations of 480,000 barrels of oil.
Wiko said he was confident in the target after calculating Pertamina’s full potential, such as existing areas and the use of technologies that can boost domestic oil lifts.
Wiko said Pertamina and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) have now formed a task force (task force) to increase national oil lifters.
Just so you know, Pertamina recorded new domestic production reaching 407,000 barrels of oil.
“In the meeting with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, we are targeting 416,000 next year for finalization. But it is difficult for us to be able to reach 430,000,” Wiko said.
