Martine Carrère wins the Super Granny Solidarity prize

Accompanied by 24 supporters, banners in hand, Martine Carrère took the stage, crowned with her title of Super Mamie Haute-Garonne. Sparkling and warm, she won the hearts of the public and Internet users and was elected Super Granny Solidarity. Two intense days that will remain deeply anchored in his heart.

How are you ?

Tired, the road, the stress of the rehearsals and the evening, the emotions… It was really wonderful and intense. I met nine amazing grandmas, with whom I will keep in touch. In the end, we realize that there are many, great grandmothers, who make their children and grandchildren shine with all their love. In any case, I would like to thank my family, who supported me a lot, the municipality of Luchon, my supporters, who did not hesitate to make the trip and share this great weekend, but also all these strangers who voted for me. I also thank all the media who were interested in this adventure, with a wink to Caroline! I was unanimously elected Super Mamie Solidarité, thanks to the votes of Internet users and the public, I am really very touched.

Was the pace sustained?

Yes, the rehearsals were really very precise but the committee really supervised us well, in a very family and friendly atmosphere. The president, Fabienne Ollier, but also Céline, Françoise, Joël… All these people devoted themselves to us, to our families, it’s truly incredible what we experienced. The sunshine that I found in , I kept it in my heart and I will keep it preciously.

Unanimously elected, isn’t that nothing?

I was very touched by it. It showed me that I was loved. My children and grandchildren were involved in an incredible way, they gave me back all the love I have for them… And then, I was happy to go to the final. The emotion would have been the same if I had not been elected. However, I am still proud to have spread the word about Luchon in Nice and to bring back this scarf. And then, I brought Joan de Nadau to Nice, singing with Roger Vert, “My God, I am at my ease”. This too is not nothing!
